I hope everyone is having a great July so far, spending lots of time in the sun.

I haven’t done a trade report in a while, so what follows is my full report on my July trades thus far — some good, some blunders with why I took the trade and the consequences.

Whilst this is largely for record keeping, feel free to learn a thing or two with my approach, how I mitigate drawdown and and navigate a consistent framework.

The first half of July unfolded nicely—clean executions, strong follow-through, and a continuation of the rhythm I’d established through May and June.

Towards mid-July, was a bit quieter.

Bitcoin, in fact, continued its advance, breaking through all-time highs with impressive regularity. yet I underperformed relative to Bitcoin’s heroic rallies.

What followed was a more subdued performance in outcome. A handful of smaller trades, each well within risk parameters, collectively kept the equity curve ticking upward, albeit modestly.

Despite my lower net nominal return relative to May and June, the size of my return is ultimately not what is important to me. If anything ,my recent trades has proven that my process is durable, risk contained and repeatable.

No outsized returns, no breaches of process, and importantly, no material drawdowns.

Consistency for me isn’t about stringing together only your best months; it’s about preserving capital and composure during the months where your net nominal return is relatively lower.

This month is exactly that thus far.
